My experience as a teacher included preparing my students for auditions. Whether it was getting ready for a festival band audition, or preparing for a college music audition, I found this part of my work to be very rewarding. I have had many students place well in festivals from the district to national levels, and many former students auditioned successfully at their respective colleges and universities. 

I also found that my work as an accompanist often lended itself to helping soloists to prepare, either for the performance, or for whatever exam or audition was at hand. One of the great joys in collaborating as a pianist is to be able to bounce ideas off of another talented artist. I find that this is true for many soloists, as well. Not only can I help you work through your audition materials with the accompaniment, but I can give you honest feedback from the perspective of someone who has sat on the other side of the audition table many times. I am not here to re-work your technique or sound, but I can give you ideas that will make your audition come off in a far more polished and prepared manner.
